How the T4T crowd works on cruush

Written by Julien Lenaz, lead developer of cruush.

Who can choose it

The T4T crowd is for trans members. To see it as an option, you tick I am trans. cruush asks this only so it can offer you the optional T4T crowd.

What it does not do

Ticking I am trans does not add a trans label to your profile. Choosing T4T is a separate step, and you choose it yourself.

What a crowd is

A crowd is a shared social space, like a gay or dyke bar, and it is not an identity label. The crowds on cruush are Dyke, Gay and T4T. You can choose up to 3 of the ones you can see.

Who sees you

In Visibility, Crowd Mode lets you limit who can see you to the crowds you choose. You can also hide yourself from people who match a filter. Both are set in Map Controls.

Who you see

In Seeking you can filter the map by crowd, along with things like distance, age range and what people are looking for.

Changing your mind

You can change your crowds in Edit Profile whenever you like. If you untick I am trans, T4T is removed from your crowds.
