Do I need an account?
Yes. cruush shows you people near you, so there is nothing to look at without one. Signing up needs an email address you can receive mail at, and age verification.
How old do I have to be?
18. cruush verifies age at signup, and an account that fails verification cannot be used. If you believe your account was suspended in error, you can appeal at support without signing in.
Who can see where I am?
Not your precise position, unless you turn that on. By default cruush shows you in an area rather than at a point, and you can limit precise location to people you are mutual cruushes with.
What does ghost mode do?
It publishes a decoy position instead of yours. The decoy is stable enough to be useful and is generated so that watching it over many rotations does not reveal where you really are. It is not the same as going invisible: you are still on the map, just not where you are.
What about when I travel?
You can move your pin to somewhere you are going, so you can see and be seen there before you arrive.
Who can see my photos?
Only signed-in people you have allowed. Photos are encrypted where they are stored and are decrypted per request, for one viewer, after checking that viewer is still allowed to see them. That means blocking someone cuts off their access straight away.
How many photos can I have?
Up to four on your profile.
Can I send a photo that disappears?
Yes. Photos in a message can be set to view once, and messages can be set to expire.
What is allowed in a photo?
cruush is an adult app and does not require your face. Photos are checked automatically before they are published, and some go to a human reviewer. Anything sexualising minors is removed and reported, without exception.
How do I block or report someone?
Blocking is on their profile and takes effect immediately, in both directions. Reporting is next to it. Reports are read by a person. To report content when you cannot sign in, use content removal.
How do I delete my account?
From your settings, in the app. Deletion removes your profile, your photos and your messages.
What does cruush+ get me?
cruush+ is the paid tier. What it unlocks is listed in the app, on the upgrade screen, so that it stays accurate as it changes.
Something is broken
Write to reports@cruush.app, or use the bug button in the app. Telling us what you tapped and what happened instead is more useful than a screenshot on its own.
