Queer cruising app in Westchester

Written by Julien Lenaz, lead developer of cruush.

The county

Westchester County is north of the Bronx. Its cities and towns include Yonkers, Mount Vernon, New Rochelle, White Plains (the county seat) and Peekskill.

Getting around

Metro-North runs three lines through the county: Hudson, Harlem and New Haven. Most trains end at Grand Central.

Using cruush

If you live here and work in the city, you can move your pin to either place depending on where you will be tonight.

Neighborhood notes

Yonkers and Mount Vernon are at the southern edge, next to the Bronx. New Rochelle and White Plains are in the middle. Peekskill is in the north along the Hudson.

Planning a night

Metro-North runs less often late at night. If you are coming from the city, check the last train back before you leave.
