Queer cruising app in Jersey City and Hoboken

Written by Julien Lenaz, lead developer of cruush.

Across the river

Jersey City and Hoboken are in Hudson County, New Jersey, directly across the Hudson River from Manhattan. Both have waterfronts with views of the skyline.

Getting around

The PATH train connects both to Manhattan. The Hudson-Bergen Light Rail links parts of Hudson County, and NJ Transit trains and ferries leave from Hoboken Terminal.

Using cruush

Because PATH makes the trip to Manhattan short, many people go back and forth in one evening. You can move your pin before you cross.

Neighborhood notes

Hoboken is a compact city on the waterfront. Jersey City is larger and stretches from the waterfront to Journal Square and beyond. Exchange Place and Grove Street are busy transit points.

Planning a night

PATH service is less frequent late at night and on weekends. Hoboken Terminal is also a hub for NJ Transit and ferries.
