What is a mutual cruush?
Written by Julien Lenaz, lead developer of cruush.
A cruush
A cruush is a light way to say you are interested. It is not a message, so the other person has nothing to answer.
Mutual
When the other person sends one back, it becomes mutual. Both of you chose it. That is the point of it.
What it changes
Parts of your profile can be set to show only to mutual cruushes. You can also choose to share your precise location with them. Becoming mutual does not give anything away automatically. You decide what opens, and you can change your mind.
Why it matters
Who you are into is personal. cruush encrypts the record of a mutual cruush, along with the details around it.
If you change your mind
You can change what you share, or block the person at any time.
A cruush is not a promise
Mutual means you both said you were interested. It does not mean you owe anyone a reply, a meeting, or anything else.
